about

I’ve never considered myself to be politically motivated. In fact, I’m not so sure that you could even call this a foray into politics. I see this as something far bigger and more important. What is happening right now with Donald Trump is an embarrassment to our great country, to our system of morals, ethics, common decency, and self-respect. There is no greater threat to the future of our nation than donald trump. The fact that this subhuman, narcissistic child (apologies to children everywhere) has even come this far is a direct indictment of where we currently stand as a body politic. Not a week goes by without at least one truly repugnant comment spewing from this person’s mouth, only to be followed up by claims of sarcasm and then back-pedaling on the back-pedaling. This is no man, this is an empty shell of a person who has been propped up his entire life by toadies, yes-men, and a disgraceful “business-man” of a father who handed down his criminal practices to this awful excuse for a human being. What he lacks in self-confidence, he makes up for in baseless braggadocio, false claims of importance, and drastically inflated statements of his wealth…as if that were even slightly relevant to the conversation to begin with. He sees money as power and his tasteless, tacky, gaudy buildings betray his entire lack of class and refinement. The man has no spine, he has no soul, he is an international failure and deserves nothing more than his cheap perversion of reality television fame. The presidential election is not a television show, we the people should not be subjected to such garbage on such a wide scale. Sure we’ve done it to ourselves by glorifying people like the Kardashians and accepting fame for the sake of fame as the new normal. But there comes a time when we must say “enough is enough” before we go too far beyond saving and our nation crumbles from the inside out. That time has come; we must rise, and we must all do everything in our power to make sure that the closest donald j trump ever comes to The White House is in the gold replica he builds with money borrowed from Russia on the island he retires to after this election is over. Shame on us for letting him get this far, let’s correct course before it’s too late.

lyrics

When I wake up too early
The summer sun on my face
I feel the air from the street outside my window
And the birds sing their tune for me

A second cup finally stirs me
Around my moment of zen
I tune in and tune out to hear you screaming
But you don’t answer for the things you said

And I will not run
I’ll pay for the things that I’ve done and not done
When the time comes to choose
And my ego has been bruised, I’ll not lash out
And I will not run

You speak of actions in theory
And practice hate with routine
Say you’re the smartest and brightest but then use words like bigly, and run from truth that’s so plainly seen.

I can’t blame you for being simple
It’s just the hand you were dealt
But the danger lies in spreading those fears
So go and peddle them to someone else

And sing with me

I will not run
I’ll pay for the things that I’ve done and not done
When the time comes to choose
And my ego has been bruised, I’ll not lash out
And I will not run

And I will not run
I’ll pay for the things that I’ve done and not done
When the time comes to choose
And my ego has been bruised, I’ll not lash out
And I will not run

(We will not let you win we will rise.
We won’t be taken in by all your lies)

I will not run
I’ll pay for the things that I’ve done and not done
When the time comes to choose
And my ego has been bruised, I’ll not lash out
And I will not run

(We will not let you win we will rise.
We won’t be taken in by all your lies)
